RS500 Real-world video blog - Episode 4

Follow along with SWM Brand Ambassador Jubal Brown as he rides and Modifies a RS500 throughout 2021

The SWM RS500 is an extremely versatile motorcycle with incredible potential, and with an MSRP thousands of dollars lower than its competition, its owner will have some extra money leftover than can go to smart mods and fun adventures. To prove it, we gave SWM Brand Ambassador Jubal Brown a lightly-used 2020 RS500 demo bike to play with for 2021. Jubal will be creating some simple grass-roots Vlogs for us over the next 12 months or so as he puts the RS through its paces at dual sport rides, enduro races, high-mountain single track, and more!

Episode 4 sees the RS500 KYB fork and shock come apart and get a complete overhaul at 707 Racing Suspension. 707 works their magic to get the best performance out of the suspension in the widest variety of terrain possible. Watch on to quickly see how to remove the RS500 shock and fork, service, revalve, and spring them both, and throw them back on.

Special thanks to 707 Racing Suspension. Contact them for any of your suspension needs!
